Having gained a scholarship to Harrow Art School in 1940 ....and not being able to take it up for there was a war on.....  'Do something sensible'...it was 1987 before the opportunity came again.

After moving to Fleet and with time to spare I found myself in a 'centre of excellence' with many opportunities to learn. Adult education at Camberly - other short courses-study days and exhibitions... my eyes were opened and I travelled!! Many exciting places with other painters. Its like going to an international club and I LEARNED SO MUCH working in all mediums.

Now I am able to to run drawing and painting groups for U3A members and share the pleasures, Hanging exhibitions interests me too.
